Ranked Choice Voting is coming to DC elections this year! Rank the District is excited to welcome candidates, their staff and volunteers, and other community organizers and educators to the first in person Candidate Training and Train the Trainer.
Attendees will learn the best way to explain Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) from the voter's perspective, see a detailed explanation of how the Board of Elections counts votes, practice explaining it and answering questions about it, and learn more about the best way to run a campaign under this new system.
The first hour will be more general information and practice, with candidate and campaign-specific information coming in the second half.
